When I was interviewing people the very first thing I looked for in a CV was "outside interests"; I didn't want people who were 110% workaholics.
Unfortunately a number of agencies used to rewrite CVs before sending them and leave out any reference to the outside interests ; some were persuaded to attach a photocopy of what the applicant had written and the one agency which refused had all its CVs refused as not filling the requirements. They were not happy bunnies at learning that we wouldn't even read their CVs - they got so irate at one pioint that my secretary refused to put their calls through
