My friend’s children go to Ardingly College and they have Kukri supplying their sports kit. The parents buy it in the onsite school shop.
So perhaps an onsite shop is the answer but finding someone to run it is the next problem!!

There used to be an onsite shop before they moved to Broadbridges for supply. I remember that when my eldest started at CH we simply made an appointment with the school shop, turned up during the summer holidays and bought everything we needed in one easy (apart from the cost!!) transaction. The shop had second hand kit available too. Best of all, you had a personal appointment and were the only customer, none of that ghastly bunfight you get in the Court Room these days when Broadbridges are on site!
Happy days, but presumably the service wasn't cost effective...

IMHO being user friendly is worth far more than being cost effective.

It's awful, isn't it? It was even worse this year than before due to the chaos of Kukri also being in the same room and parents not knowing who to order from!!! There has to be a better way, surely?

Just received my Kukri kit through the post.....postage label says £4 paid........I seem to remember we were charged £10 to get it sent on.....nice little profit for someone. I could have bought a pair of socks with that £6!!

They would probably claim high "handling costs". I've encountered this kind of practice on ebay!

Earlier this year I was put through to the Headmaster's PA while telephoning to arrange an appointment, and was met with the cheerful greeting "Good afternoon, Ardingly College." I know it was simple human error, but I think this speaks volumes!!
