My two are just like this, but they are tabbies. I love them to bits. Thanks, Dave, for that picture!

Hi

If you like dogs - and cats - there are photos galore of our darlings at work, rest and play on our website http://www.spanglefish.com/Talraz

Even the birds get in on the act for a couple of pics

Last summer our neighbour had someone round to look at his roof but they had to look from OUR back garden and stomped through the house to do it, despite the fact that we both have back gates that are accesssible. This person then managed to step in cat poo in the garden and rather than wiping feet on the mat stomped it back through the house (fortunately we have hard flooring.)

We have numerous cats in the close who are often seen in our back garden and never (in 24 years) have any of US done this.

Hello Liz. Love the new website! Willow sends waggy woofs to Ruby!
Mary, I am sorry about the pooh walked through your house, but normally cats bury theirs. My guess is that if the uncaring surveyors for your next door walked through/brought into your house unpleasant stuff from ouside ,it might have more likely to have been dog or even fox pooh?

But why did SHE do it, when the offspring and numerous friends have never done anything like it? (we only have a moderate sized garden)

I wish! Cats used to bury it, but that instict seems to hav been bred out of the local cats, which is why I keep a loaded water pistol in the kitchen. A friend had a camomile lawn, which her local cats loved--She had a cap gun to hand!

Oh, I'm not blaming the cat, I blame the stupid woman, why didn't she just go out through next door's back gate and in through ours, and/or wipe her feet.

Dog Pack Attacks Gator In Florida

At times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw beauty, and even a certain justice manifested within that cruelty.

The alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally considered the "apex predator", can still fall victim to implemented 'team work' strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and "survival of the pack mentality" bred into the canines.

See the remarkable photograph below courtesy of Nature Magazine.

Note that the Alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the gator preventing it from breathing, while another dog has a hold on the tail to keep it from thrashing. The third dog attacks the soft underbelly of the gator.

Not for the squeamish

LOVELY !!!!

I was reading, with dis-belief, since I know about Nile Crocs and Sothern Africa Crocs -----

And then I saw the photo ------ BRILLIANT !

Regarding the Poo being walked through the House ------

Neill ---- being Neill --- would have confronted the Miscreant, who would have been instructed to go into reverse, and either clean up, -- or clear off !! ----- GRRRR !

I wasn't there, and I don't know who it was. Pacific younger son was there. Older son would have confronted her, as would daughter.
