I think we are at cross purposes, Kerren. The calendar shows a 50+ Reunion for 12 September (next Wednesday) ie those who left in 1962 - as I did (I am years older than you!!). Obviously the one referred to in these postings is for 40+. I have had it in my mind all year that I would get an invitation for the 50+ one, but when I saw these postings I thought I must have made a mistake. Now I have discovered too late that they are two different events, and 'my' one is actually happening next week, only I wasn't invited, so I am feeling somewhat aggrieved! Don't worry about it, because I can't get there anyway. Besides, since I left in the Lower VI, most of my year would probably be invited next year, so it would make more sense if I could go next year anyway!

Do you receive publications/e-mails from the school, Angela ?

When renowned bokkers pass away, does it get into the Blue?

I reckon an obituary would probably tell us more about them than we ever knew when we were at school.

Angela, you need to contact Margaret Wadman, the CHOBA Administrator (you can do it via their website) and give her your details...

It is depressing how many of my contemporaries are deceased. I knew of some via Howard H and The Blue since re-establishing contact with the School but there are many I did not.

I inadvertently typed "tear"s rather than "years" in the title to this post and changed it but perhaps I was right the first time.

RIP to them all and God Bless if they believed.
Where is it possible to see the list?

Interesting that the presentation of male and female names is the same whereas it is a normal convention (I think) to put ladies' first names before their surnames?
Either way I am sorry to learn of the demise of one or two names that I recognise from Hertford. Also, with regard to those attending a reunion, does Margaret Wadman not publish a list of attendees on the CHOBA website?

Wow! I've never heard of that convention! As for the list of attendees being kept up to date. Sadly, it isn't.

Christian names would also be 'useful' for the females, as I think that the surnames are those of their husbands. Damaris was nee Williams?

I am sure 2 (Hickson and Palmer) were in BaB, but it is not mentioned.

Correct, Palmer (me) and Hickson were in BaB when it became a junior house. But the school only have me down under the senior house Mid B.
