No witnesses?
A bit unusual?

Probably the Prosecution wanted to wait until tomorrow after all the legal submissions.

For the record, NO witnesses were asked to attend today.

I went down to Hove for the hearing today.
If anyone is thinking about going along, a couple of practical things:
There is no sitting on Thursday 25th and the judge told the jury that the case will probably be finished on/by Friday of next week.
Witness evidence begins tomorrow morning, around 10.30am.

Site tradition demands that someone objects to the
Daily Hate’s quoting of full fees (or an approximation). The simple fact is that the media doesn’t care.

Dunno. im just laughing at the following quote
His trial was told Dobbie was an 'extravagant' chaplain who liked to dress up in full ecclesiastical robes in church and burn incense in the school chapel.
Love a bit of veiled anti-ecclesiasticism and homophobia

Very saddened to think anyone thinks there is anything to laugh at here to be honest.

Was laughing at the irrelevance of that particular paragraph and the lazy, prejudiced journalism of a horrible newspaper, rather than the subject matter of the current trial...

I couldn't make it down today. Did anyone manage to?
From causelist, looks like witness one has finished giving evidence.
Does anyone know whether witness two is timetabled for Friday or Monday?
Cheers.

B****y hell.
9 minutes on 11/4 plus perhaps as much as 163 minutes on the 23rd.
What on earth are they playing at? The prisoner has to be taken to and from prison. Counsel has to attend etc. There is 145 minutes not accounted for and it is costing big bucks.
I have been on a jury and witnessed personally how much time is completely wasted and yet all the legal people are being paid big sums, normally at our expense. The concepts behind our trials are wrong. Either the prisoner is guilty or is innocent - bring in the witnesses and documents one by one without breaks and decide. Forget the nicieties - IF they did the crime send 'em down there and then. If a peeler missed out a full stop them f*** it - the bloke was guilty or innocent and a missing letter won't change that.
