Yes, the shame of it. Must have been difficult to admit that Sophie.
And no-one said the person that says 'goody' is homosexual, just the word itself. When Col A was mentioned, this was in reference to last year, not before.
Lousey! hopes your mental problems are sorted out soon.

Sophie, as you I think are the only Sophie I knew at CH will know that I used to overuse CH slang when at CH and now having left for 5 yearts sometimes still use the word baffed, or and am afraid to say, goody.... *sigh*

Guys as i remember it,
Ricky, was started up in 95/96, in Lamb B and the thing got wildley out of hand.
I also remember in 99 the word BOSH was used to its full extent in Peele A. Trades as i recall were in house tidying but also as julian said to do trades in dining hall. Dont quote me on this but i'm sure it ended when the new queing for food sytem came in.
Is the word Tuck still used?

Toyce - little desk thing in the common room. You put up a curtain and pretended it was a kind of mini study.
Fruit Bat (scary one this) - attractive person. Usually applied to a younger boy in a slightly belittling way. A fruit bat walking past Peele B in the early '80's would probably be met with a barrage of ironic (or not!) wolf whistles. I was sooo glad when the boys' and girls' schools started to come together!!!

Milky - fat, overweight
I'm sure there are loads more. I'll have a think...

What I really want to know is - is the 'Chelsea' still there? I think by '97 it had become a little worn out. And how did it get that name?

The Chelsea was mercilessly destoryed in about 1999 when they put a car park on top of it!
Apparently, all the smoking dens had a name of a football club in the old days - perhaps someone can enlighten me on this?

The little oasis of personal space created by a high-backed toyce, with a curtain, a poster on the wall - suddenly, it almost felt like home!

SPRIM - Pungent ammonia based liquid kept in a saucer with a really dishevelled nailbrush, (usually outside Matrons so she could spot who had the muddy hems and therefore were the smokers) - used to wipe stains off uniform. Is this still used?
