Just had a look at my copy and inside it is a small piece torn out of 'The Times', with the details of Sir Harry Vanderpant's will. He left a total of £197,678 net. It says £12000 to various bodies and the residue to CH and the Council of Almoners. There is no date on this scrap.

There was a bust of Sir Harry by the stairs to the Dining Hall in Hertford. We believed that his generosity had paid for an extra set of underpants for the boys, and also that DR had been soft on him. Any truth in these ancient rumours?

What !!!!! three pairs of clean underpants a week, no wonder modern society is falling to pieces.
