The summer of 2015 at the age of 68 !!

So I have 10 years left to live.

I'd better start doing the things I've never got round to doing yet.

I found this thread whilst looking for something else!

It says I will die on Wednesday March 24 2032. Being bad with numbers I can't work out how old I will be...

But

I'm thrilled that it says "Category - Desirable"!

Better make the most of the time left, then. Where's my mascara?

I found this thread because I'm following Angela around like a lost dog (that's me, JR, not Angela...)

For information, the day of the week on which you were born is only relevant if you're particularly interested in which particular day of the week you're going to die. If you don't know the day, bung in any day, and you'll get a date; bung in the next day, and you'll get the next date, etc. No doubt if they refined it just a leetle bit more they could tell you the precise second. Personally, I'm content to know I have more than the five years my doctor gave me (10 years ago) unless I drastically changed my lifestyle.

Hold on a sec, I forgot to look at that "desirability" category Angela mentioned.





Take no notice of the desirabiltiy category, it's obviously nonsense.

Despite the fact that I am overweight, I'm going to live for another 60 years - it's being an optimistic non-smoker that balances out all the chocolate biscuits apparently. Good God! I can only offer my extreme sympathies to my children as they push me round in my bath chair at the age of 95.

How come? I mean, I'm delighted that Mary, Janet, Catherine and JR are going to live a lot longer. That's a lot of postings! Is there some sort of extra category higher up than Button Grecian for award in the future?

But have you all made some sort of vital change since the initial Verdict?

It's no good sucking up to JR now, he hasn't been on this thread for ages. And who said I'd given up silk stockings?

I don't think I'll be re-checking my expected date of demise, it might give me a nasty shock.

My lifestyle is, and always has been, completely irreproachable.

Goodness knows what a wonderful tropical lifestyle is like - I don't!

I think I might quickly take off a few years from this life by re-categorising myself as a pessimist - I lied and said I was "regular".

Anyway, Philip, you still haven't explained yourself re the stockings. One post you are importing them, the next you can get them - Thai lingerie shops must be rather heavenly. Sigh!

Obviously you lead a decadent life. Given you are 4 now that makes it an age of 9 when you die - not even old enough to get to CH. So, what are you doing on this forum when it is for over 16's only?

It says I will even outlive Mary; what to do for the next 26 years is a bit of a problem when I have trouble getting through each day (I have already outstripped each parent by 10 years so I don't know about genes)

Am I going to be a vegetable? a WOM? a PIN? Folks need to know.

and the rest! There is one place in Bang kok (down, JR, down) which is a bit of a shopping mall in 8 floors. One area, on one floor, about 200 yards plus by 100 yards sells nothing but mobile phones. I didn't check out the silk stockings or the lingerie areas (I'm not that way inclined) nor the females there so I just have to use my imagination!
