Oops, yes, so many pictures, I thought he was in the 1973 one.

We didn't have pictures taken at Hertford (except that Monitresses one), everything seems to have been done on the cheap compared to Horsham.

I was LHA 73-75 and Col B until '79. I didn't have money to buy the '79 picture which I am also in... so I'm really chuffed to find it posted.

Which is really a pity, as we do not have the great archives/memories to which Horsham OBs have access. Wonder why they didn't do House photos ?

The only pic I have of me in uniform was taken by my cousin on St Matthew's Day 1971.

I don't even remember photos of Mons being taken. I do remember there were school team photos, but I wasn't in the Firsts at anything.

Did you not have a photo of the whole school taken every few years? The last school photo at Hertford was taken in 1984 and I had it hanging up on my landing until I moved last March When we moved to Horsham we had house photos each summer term. I certainly don't remember any house photos being taken at Hertford.

I was at Hertford from 1981-1985 and we only had the one photo of the entire school & staff in that time.

Considering the number of guys posting on the 'Hertford' threads, perhaps you could cut us a little slack.

Guilty as charged .... but one of the things I love about this forum is that you never know what you will find on any thread!!!

Back to CH did you have to learn psalms as a punishment at Horsham, you could tell how seriously DR took your demeanour by which psalm you got. I once got 117 only 2 verses!!!! Can't remember what I had done.

We had to learn something (not a psalm) for RE prep and I couldn't be bothered.
Come the next lesson and we had to recite waht we had learned.
Who did DR ask first? That's right.

When she asked me why I hadn't learned it I told the truth. I swear her lips twitched. OOPS, a detention for me.

By the time the other 18 or 19 in the class had recited it I knew it myself, and recited it. Still had to do the detention though.
