Thanks everyone - have now got to that state of packing where really odd combinations of things are going into the same Lok'n'Store boxes.

Rarely used china + DIY suturing stuff from bathroom cabinet + childrens netball cups + several glamour corsets I don't wear that often + baking trays...

Current husband railing at this moment at baking trays - threatens to throw them away - emergency

Does he want Chocolate Roulade at Christmas or what? Rescued.

Surely he wants the china - or perhaps the corsets!

If he doesn't want the roulade you can send it to me :tonqe:

Wear the glam corset whilst making the roulade. He'll be putty in your hands.

I I weren't a bit deprived of kitchen facilities now, Craig, a Special Delivery could soon be on it's way to Tring!

Actually, I've got bits of china I don't often use - ornamental plates used by my mother in the fifties that used to support dainty fish-paste sandwiches on doilies - that sort of thing. Greatly imperilled in the last couple of days.

Now they've been taken down, there are far more pictures and mirrors than I realised  Ditto terracotta garden containers.

cj, what good advice - if only current husband was more interested in glamour corsets rather than in  model railways. Incidentally, I was browsing recently in a smart kitchen showroom where I found a kitchen with scarlet sparkly worktops incorporating a ceiling-to-worksurface pole - what possibilities.

Not one of the Choices at the dolls' house, alas...

OK! Pack on! Pack on!

Make him interested! Good heavens, most men would kill for integral pole-dancing apparatus in their own house, complete with a glamour-puss in a corset. And if you could incorporate the model railway somehow, it could be the makings of your best Christmas ever.

Where are the moderators when you need them? There might be children watching. I'm extremely disappointed in the pair of you. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

By the way, does anyone remember where the silk stockings thread was?

Is this one of those chocolate logs with a robin and a piece of holly on top?

You're just jealous because you haven't got a glamour corset. Possibly a bit sweaty Betty in Thailand? You'd need a minion to waft cool air on you.
