Turkish food is THE BEST

good roast beef but must have horseradish sauce and OMG roast parsnips... mmm...

crispy bacon sandwich with HP sauce on brown bread

good trad breakfast esp for hangover

scotch egg, esp with Heinz sun dried tomato and garlic table sauce on, ooh, discovered that last night...

and I haven't eaten lunch or tea yet today, better go soon and fix that

oh and something about the police... um...

I spent a short while driving coaches on prisoner escort duties before group 4 took over. They were excellent fun because you always stopped for lunch at a police station. Damn those guys know how to eat well. It was West Midlands police that got me into black and white puddings. Bless them

My older brother told me that when he was researching a recent novel he
was writing and he spent time with the police they ate sh1t most of the time

But that was when they were on call so perhaps not typical

He did gain huge respect of them while travelling in the car with the underpaid and overworked fellows

Oh when you work with the police, you see a side of them and their job you would never have thought was there.

In the stations they certainly used to eat very well indeed and the food was extremely well subsidised.

Having more money doesn't make you happier. I have 50 million dollars
but I'm just as happy as when I had 48 million.
