Move accomplished!!!!

However, suffering greatly from Forum withdrawal symptoms - due to some weird connection problems, can't have a landline until BT has done more work in the road and charged £124.00.

Thrilled with new kitchen - battling with all the boxes - wearing weird clothes combinations - Ferdinand retrieved from cattery from which he nearly escaped - amazed that Choices look so nice - slightly disorientated -

Love to all, and thanks for all the encouraging messages :lol:

Can't wait to be entirely Connected again

Now that it's all over bar the shouting, I can reveal that all that wheel-spinning and gong-banging backfired on me.

Thanks to a lying toe-rag of a landlord (a Brit - may the fleas of a thousand camels infest his armpits), our second house in six months has been sold from under us, so we are about to embark on our third move in 18 months...

Plum - We're getting men to do the moving for us this time. It seemed the way ahead and actually, compared to hiring a van and both of us taking the time of work etc; it actually works out better value - especially on the sanity and marital harmony scale.

I spent my weekend looking at kitchen appliances (or as the husband calls them, "wife gadgets"). My goodness it was dull.

Enjoy the new house, but dump the husband.

Mine went ape-sh1t when I bought our new appliances without him, and hasn't yet stopped moaning about the hob because the controls are in the 'wrong' order.
