Similarly women in their early 60s who were stupid enough not to do their pelvic floor exercises after giving birth. Take warning - prevention is better than cure.

By golly, life's tough, isn't it! My poor dear sister (88 next week) is scared to go anywhere these days, in case she "doesn't make it in time".

Do our gentleman friends have a similar problem?...Oh no, they don't have pelvic muscles (do they?!)

No, but an enlarged prostate can result in the opposite problem.
'Please drop me at the Gents then go off and order a three course meal. I'll see you for dessert.'
And since I risk the 'Spider' posts being moved to a Hertford thread, I'll slip this gem in here.
Having lived sans husband for some years I thought that I was over being asked 'Where are my socks' by someone standing in front of an open drawer containing several pairs of said socks.
But, NO!
with slight variation.
Colleague standing in front of large glass fronted fridge; 'Where is the X?'
reply from me, up to elbows in little tubes with lids that get caught in the finger tips of my surgical gloves, and trying to remember what goes into which tube
'At the very front, far right hand side, third shelf from top'.
(da capo)
'No, can't see it'.
'Well, that's where I left it. Have you moved it?'
'No, never used it before. Where did you say it is?'
'At the very front, far right hand side, third shelf from top'.
Repeat from ............................
Large sigh from me (knowing that I will lose track of what I've done, and need to start over), stomp to fridge with attitude, open fridge door and retrieve X from, you guessed it
the very front, far right hand side, third shelf from top'
Cyberchocolate frog for the first person to correctly identify gender of said colleague.

Iknowiknow, Caroline. It may seem strange that I, whom Miss Wilson once called "slovenly", should have such an obsession. It's really odd - that's why I have confessed in "Pedant's Revolt". At an interview on Thursday I found myself
gloating over all the First Class Pass certificates I gained in a Business Skills Update course - one of the most satisfying things I have ever done. The beautiful presentation of documents turned out to be one of my best abilities! So satisfying. So creative.
But I promise you, I don't give candlelit suppers

Male pelvic muscles - yes! I don't like to be too frank here in stating the uses to which they can be put, but think of a very common male problem....
But our gentlemen friends definitely will not have had episiotomies.

Frances, you naughty person.
Many years ago I drove my husband's 81 year old Grandmother from Doncaster to Faversham in Kent, as we approached the Dartford Tunnel (pre-bridge) I asked if she wanted a comfort break. she said she had six children and never had a problem. Husband said, that may be so, but he had no children and he needed a comfort break.

On the same subject ----- I see all these Female comments, about the situation of "Men's Brains"
I have never had any relationship with any Lady --- who was looking for a "Brainless Man"
Now why would that be ? ----- or are you all Posting from the Convent ?-------
