No escaped rodent, just wildlife inbetween the cellar ceiling and the sitting room floorboards

Our cats will probably kill them soon

I like it when you have to get rid of whatever it is IMMEDIATELY but it must be humanely!

We have loire gris between the lounge ceiling and bathroom floor at the farm. They are like squirrels but with vicious teeth; the Romans brought them to England as food - edible dormice.
I trap them and "humanely" dispose of them - they don't complain.
Having more money doesn't make you happier. I have 50 million dollars
but I'm just as happy as when I had 48 million.

Well they certainly can be quite difficult at times. Mine turned out all right in the end though.

So the Roman edible dormice are not the same as the mice we see now?

I wonder what they taste like?

The scratching noise has gone and one of the cats looks satisfied

My wife doesn't hate daughter, she hates rats

Selective quoting can change the meaning of the sentence somewhat

I once went to the downstairs bog early in the morning and an enormous rat was sitting on the seat looking at me cheekily

It didnt run away and I really got the horrors

I shut the door and later the rat was throwing itself at the window trying to escape

I got a gun when I returned from work but the creature had returned by the same route he'd arrived
