That's generally how it works, I think.

My Greek O-level was 31 years ago, though, so I can't decipher them like I used to!

Yes, we used to be offered such subjects before they were displaced by 'life skills', 'community lawnmowing' and other such drivel.

I'm starting to develop forumphobia trying to keep up with all the new posts. I did Greek O-level, started A-level, rapidly changed my mind and transferred to Archaeology, then went on a school trip to Egypt. And Greece. No contest really.

I think Greek stopped (as a GCSE and A-level option) soon after I left...
