Dammit. I didn't get round to that. But I was seriously hungover on Saturday (must be getting old) and topped up the alcohol level on Sunday, so there's really no need for it today.

My husband stopped smoking suddenly in his middle 50's-he'd been smoking since he was about 9. He hates the smell now, particularly of stale smoke. With the money he saved he was able to pay golf club fees, so he got some exercise as well. For a man who was dicharged from the army with TB towards the end of the war, he's a remarkably fit 81 now. Good luck Sean, we're cheering for you. YOU ARE A NON-SMOKER

It's good, as the pub itself is called the Hobgoblin!

Everybody Please forgive Me
For the excessive posts today, they have helped keep my mind busy today as I deal with the effects of day 1 of being a non-smoker. If I am honest I think I will be a smoker who chooses not to smoke from today onwards. It is now 9 hours and things are getting a bit easier
Thank you all for your support

It is a good pub to be so close to my workplace!
