NOBODY
has answered my question. What (in Latin or any other terms) is the difference between the 'Carmen' (Hertford) and the 'Votum' (Horsham), beyond the addition of a particular verse for Hertford (about girls in gymnslips, if I recall....)

Do they still sing it just as it is written there as it doesn't seem totally suitable for a mixed gender school if you look at the literal translation.
