It's quite true. John Rutley was the only boy at CH with tattooed ears.

Maths - took O level 3 times and achieved 3 E's - the dread of single or worse, double maths can still bring on a cold sweat. I was rather young at first O level attempt - must have been 14 1/2 but somehow never got the hang of it after that. Can still recall sitting in the Gym during attempt two or three thinking that another failure is on the way. Not the teacher's fault - Bogey Fryer and Bono Johnson even tried to help me with extra work but somehow the lightbulb never went on. Finally decided to take GCSE Maths in 2004 and managed a grade B despite not answering 25% of the first paper.
Also I still cannot take a goal kick without ending up doing a pathetic toe punt.

Are you saying there's another way to take a goal kick?
If only someone had explained to me.

Oh yes - I forgot music. I don't have a musical bone in my body. I think there were some lessons on music on the 2nd form and then I never reentered the building.
I do wonder if there was a deliberate anti-music attitude even amongst the staff.
Why, for goodness sake did they not tell us why we were doing piano scales to educate the brain rather than to bore us. When I listen to Santata or to Luca Selic or Stjpan Hauser (sex on stage when he plays with Caroline!)I hear sounds totally dissimilar to the racket coming out of the Music (so-called) school. It is too late to learn now; CH has deprived me of so many good composers, sounds and music
