My first boyfriend took me to Lords (aged 15 in 1969) to see a game involving all-rounders where they all had to bowl and bat against each other.
My now ex-husband, who was then my still to be husband, took me to a Ladies Night at Lords - Masonic Ladies not Cricket Ladies. Friend Ali was wearing a floor length white gown, and after disappearing for some time with her partner, reappeared with a bright green stain down the back of the gown.
They had been unable to resist christening (?)/desecrating (?) the crease.
Can't think of a Suduko equivalent.
Blimey Caroline, that quote of mine goes back a long way.
I feel a new thread coming on.

sudoku is boring because it is so simple but if you ahve time the 16x16 (or 4x4 rather then the usual 3x3) "super sodoku" in the Saturday Independent is a fun challenge
how can you knock cricket??? it's the best!
cryptic crosswords (easy ones like the old Metro one and the thelondonpaper one) are just about my level and keep my brain in gear when commuting...

to be really boring and technical for a moment then, I have a Nokia 6680 (two cameras, 3G access to the world, video calling, blah blah blah oh yes it makes phone calls too) and it cost about £1.50 to download Boggle from the Vodafone games site.
BTW why would I want one camera on my phone, let alone two? I have a camera for taking pictures, strangely... I really don't understand this.

So you don't have to lug around a 'good' camera when in pub and wanting to take pics...
