GCSE?
I'm sure we couldn't
Certainly not A-level
but then if we didn't choose the GCSE they wouldn't have needed to put on the A-level I suppose...

Couldn't remember that one in M & S yesterday so tested out a nice simple English 20C word on their £49 electronic dictionary. Not known so I tried another - again not known. What a waste of nearly 50 nicker.
Went to the £99 machine and typed in "terminological" and it immediately offered 4 choices including "terminological inexactitude" which was defined as a lie used by Winston Churchill in (my query?) 1903.
Who on earth works out such combinations?
BTW - where did Churchill lie?

Or maybe on the floor in M & S, having a paddy at the price of silly electronic gadgets.

I know it doesn't sound like it, but this is a serious question:
did M&S exist in 1903? just these posts got me thinking and it probably did...

I think it goes back to Roman times.

I believe it was just Marks in the beginning and, if memory serves aright, 1912

Yes .... I do mean 1912 and yes, Amy you are right - I am not, indeed, quite that old. And how could I be offended by such a compliment from a pretty girl?

well you did say "memory" as if it went back that far...?
haha, so he couldn't have been lying on the floor in M & S, having a paddy at the price of silly electronic gadgets, because...
...M&S didn't exist in 1903. Ha!
