Reminds me of a situation I saw once where a car passed me with the silencer trailing along the ground. The driver stopped, reversed up trying to loosen the silencer so that it fell off, gave up and drove away at high speed.

I have no idea how to post this properly, but I have just spotted on the BBC page, under the heading 'weird and wonderful' a report about a group of Scouts in uniform who were visiting Harrods and were asked to remove their scarves and woggles. The leader refused, claiming that it was part of his identity, complained to customer services and got an apology. Previously a football team in squad tracksuits had also been refused entry.I wonder if CH should send in a party in full housey and see now Harrods react.

english angel wrote in a different thread:
Alternatively you could just look it up on 118118 as there is an S Bradley in Broadbridge Heath.

An alternative which I always use is
http://www.infobel.com/en/world

which has search engines for most if not all countries in the world. In the UK alone there are 10 different search engines; some are residential, some are business and some are mixed. (The last one does not always work for UK numbers). Of course BT etc are there (you have to subscribe (free) to get 5 searches a day). They work differently and can be quirky - one will also search voting registers and past addresses (limit seems to be 10 years) and I have even sometimes found numbers which are indicated elsewhere as being ex-directory. With some of them omit the space in post codes - it's trial and error

Definitely "How to win Friends and influence people".

Toby Young, not Ed Balls-up or Ofsted.

I'm guessing it's a slimline, lightweight metal or plastic stool inside his shirt and trousers, and secured to the floor through his shoe.
