I know that, we have a friend who deliberately mispronunciates words.

Sorry, it was only meant as a joke.

Professor Stanley Unwin, what a blast from the past! I was going to ask you to dig up Victor Borge's Phonetic Punctuation, but decided to do it myself. An hour later...

I loved looking at these, and I'd forgotten just how brilliant the musical sketches are.

How can you be excited when you arent in the wonderful land of coleridge B?. Your next door neighbours conjoined by only some bricks and a mutual love of Matron. Hmmmmmm. Only kidding, Col A is a lovely house.

Tsk, you're all so territorial!

I was in Col A (as a senior) and loved it, but I suspect it's a bit different from the days of Stanley Malone... (who was a charming chap - I'm just not very sure he'd have managed to cope with Col A today!)

Good luck, lbbbbbbbbbb

The way I see it East side avenue houses are the best I don't think you could beat Barnes or Lamb for convenience of location, but when it comes to Grecians Houses WEST IS BEST (hence the rhyme West is Best East is Least)!!

I'm on for the booze (as recipient, not supplier to someone underage you understand) As for house numbers I was Col A 9 and I think Brown KC (a year behind me) might have been nº 7..
There's no better house ..... (note that JR!!!)

John, I'm glad you enjoyed Victor Borge, though I wish you hadn't mentioned it, as it has delayed me going to bed for over an hour...

As well as being in Col A, like BrokenDaffodilBulb, I was in Maine A (25, I think), but I dare say that might not be quite the same now either.

Unfortunately, Gemma, I was never in Col B. In fact I never even set foot in Col B, as apparently it smelled so bad. Some things, apparently, never change...
