I was surprised and pleased to see Mick Miller (famed from 'The Comedians' TV show) doing his alcoholic actor doing Noddy on a radio over the weekend on TV.

I must see if I can find it on YT. I was in tears of laughter.

I don't often repost internet "funnies", but this Yeoman of the Guard cracked me up. The man should be on TV.

Yes, and there are some others of him too, all variations on the same theme. I'm amazed he gets away with some of it but I think he's brilliant

I watched the whole lot plus one where a "Beefeater" got upset with a Blue Badge Guide whose group got in the way of some soldiers. He took his badge number, upsetting the tourists who had not been informed that the soldiers were "real" and "at work".

I think he's very good, does the same "show" every time, appeared to be a fairly typical RSM, but I would love to see his reaction to a CH pupil in Housey. Would he be allowed in?

I see that CH exercised the right of admission in 2006 and was going to make it an annual exercise. I wonder if this continues.

A bit of "Father Ted" level swearing here. But don't let that put you off.
Ryanair ? This almost happened to us when returning from Shannon to Bristol. On our outward journey we took just one trunk type case for the three of us and it was accepted into the hold with nothing extra to pay. That was great considering it held three times our individual baggage limit. However, on the return journey we were informed at Shannon "You have exceeded your individual baggage allowance and will need to pay an extra 96 Euro". I asked the girl why Bristol allowed us to take the three baggage allowance in one bag without an extra charge ? she shrugged and replied 96 Euro. I said no way and left the queue which we had been standing in for atleast half an hour. I went into Duty Free and asked for a handful of plastic carrier bags which we were freely given. We then unloaded an amount of clothing from the trunk to the three carriers ( now hand luggage ) and rejoined the check in queue
Her face was a picture and I am sure I heard FECK muttered quietly under her breath! :D
So on that occasion Ryan air was reasonably cheap. :)
