I think mainly because Britain is a free country, where you can wear what you like. Culture here being so different from Iran, we are more accepting of what people wear.

If you look around the world, in poorer countries and alot of the middle east, the Western world is slowly seeping in and people are become less afraid to wear what the want.

A) We are at war with neither Iraq not Iran.

B) "Spies" do not parade around in full miltary uniform in marked boats in the middle of the sea.

As soon as we entered Iraq, then that was a sign of War. We are at war everyday with the Iraqi Insurgents, they keep trying to blow us up and we keep firing back. Saying that, are we at war with Americans as they keep firing at us??

Unsure about statement B, i would class the american Air base in the UK who listenes to calls spying. Yet they wear Army uniform. Also the planes thousands of miles up scanning afgahnistan, thats spying and they are in a aircraft saying USAF.
