I've just recieved another letter from Christ's Hospital.
It's about the induction week and the arrangements. I will indeed be wearing housey uniform!. So that's one question that I finally have answered.
They say I need '
flat, black, laced-up shoes to wear with the uniform' but I don't own a pair so I'll buy some now and keep them for september. Is there any special type that is reccomended?.

You'll be doing a lot of walking so something comfortable and waterproof bearing in mind the weather for the Autumn/Christmas term. Our uniform lists used to state the number of laceholes permitted for girls shoes (can't remember!!). Boys were allowed more. Pedantic, or wot?

very very pedantic. Laceholes! At my school we aren't even allowed lace up shoes.
I'm going to have to do some serious shopping before september, or even before the induction week since I'll be taking the same sort of stuff.

Nah, any kind of black lace ups are ok - I've ranged between Dr. Ms ad big kickers. (oh, how I'm glad i didn't misspell that!). Just as long as it's smartish.

Well that's indeed good news!. I won't have to worry so much about a specific shoe. I've got enough to worry about in regards to my exams. Only 3 left!!

wow Archery!. I love it but can't aim to save my life.

You must be really good at it. I'd hope you would be, to try pyrotechnics on arrows!.
Yeah totaly, I don't class french reading as a 'proper' exam, it's too short. but Physics!.
If I see another formula triangle in my life it will have been too soon.

Well, the hard-core practice I had today helped, but I'm going to have to really concentrate on the shot, in case I hit somebody...
I managed to finish the 50 minute German reading in 20 minutes, and because I did it in the Special Room, I got to go afterwards because there was nobody else there
What ASes are you taking?

English, History, Latin and Maths!
You finished in 20 mins. Wow. the best I've ever done is finished the virgil paper in 16 minuites but my handwriting is the worst thing I have ever seen so I'll loose all of the marks for the examiner not being able to read it.
Go practise some more archery!. I would hate for you to hit someone......unless that is your plan all along?.

Woa- nice choices (well, 2 of them anyway - I literally washed my hands of history today

)
Well, if your handwriting's that bad, you could apply for specialness and do your exams on a computer etc!
I might do some more on Saturday actually in the wood...then I can practice properly!
