I did wonder what was in there to be honest. I guessed it would have what most tuck shops have but since It was in a boarding school I thought there might be other things aswell. I really am going in partialy blind to the whole experience. Which is mostly exciting but quite daunting aswell.
At least there will be people there that I know so I won't be so anxious.
I just realised that next week tomorrow I'll be getting off that train for CH and be able to actualy see the whole of the place since I only really got to see a small portion.
I've only seen the quadrangle and big school, the outside of Col B, Big School, The Theatre and the two grecian houses. Which, when I'm looking at the map is not alot at all. Havn't even seen any of the classrooms.

That is great news. Not too far away if I have a sudden craving of chocolate and nice people in there.
I havn't seen the library no, not even the outside.
I can't wait to see the books in there, especially if there is such a large collection of Tolkien as you say there is.

Not sure about the high amount of calories on sale in the tuck-shop. Loads and loads for the chocaholic. Eldest grand-daughter dragged me in there after lunch !
No Mrs C in attendance, and I don't know Mrs Plum Senior, so I might have been served by her without knowing it !

No!
Back from quick visit to father-in-law in Devon.
I made my pilgrimage to the Tuck Shop on Sunday afternoon - there were two ladies behind the counter and I asked for Mrs C.
"Sorry" was the answer "She's gone out with her family!"
Oh! I was looking forward to meeting you Janet! Never mind. One day.

"Baldrick, you wouldn't recognise a cunning plan if it painted itself purple, and danced naked on top of a harpsichord singing "Cunning plans are here again.""
