One Speech Day at Horsham I met a couple of very ancient ladies who must have been at Hertford around the time of the First World War. They told me that when they studied Human Biology, there were no 'details' below the waist on diagrams or posters of the male of the species. They were quite indignant about this and asked if things had changed!!
