oh she isn't getting me until Tuesday night.. but I really don't want to go - as son has lost his job being a Pizza Delivery Boy - yes - eeeeeeeeekkkkkk!! so he isn't around to feed the cats - so I will have to come home everyday to feed them - 18 miles - just to go back there again - Can anyone think of a really kind way of saying No to someone who has been your best friend for 23 years?????? I can't!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

An OB friend of yours is having tests for a rather nasty condition and you want to be sure to be home to find out how he is doing. If the news is bad, you could be on the phone for hours.. Then when your friend asks, tell he got the all clear.
That might work
I hope your friend doesn't come on here!

It would be lying - and I can't lie very well - infact I go all weird and my words stop - (ok I could put it down to losing my mind) I have never been able to lie convincingly... mind you neither have my children - they just tell me these days - as I tend to know before they tell me!
She isn't an OB - which brings me to another problem - on average I get 40 posts a day fom the forum (possible more) so if I am away - then how many emails will I have????????????????, the mind boggles

Poor Jude, you are stuck with it then unless you say (honestly) that you are just too tired after all you have been doing since Sarah went to uni

I could - but then she would answer - all the more reason to take you away from home and give you a rest!!!!!!

YOu will only get one email from each thread, so your emails shouldn'yt go over 40

You only get the emails if you ask for them. I don't bother with them - I just click on 'View posts since last visit' each time I visit.

If you go to your Profile settings on Notification and click on No to send an email notification you won't get them.
