You scare them.
No, but seriously, this type of response seems ludicrous in its attitude...
...almost akin to the barring of several sites under the reason 'Useless'...

anyway, all that is required is a perfectly good (unbarred) proxy server...

Now now, you were a child once...
I also, in the dim and distant past, used to wear flared jeans and platform shoes, an RAF greatcoat and shirts with collars so big you could thread a bit of wire through them and use them for hangliding.

However, one moves on... (well, a bit anyway.)

Brethren,

I ask you not to allow this shameful incursion to our civil liberties. Without The Blog we are merely fed homogenised propaganda, for example how good the exam results are this year and how well the refurbishment program is regressing (sic).

This is not acceptable. Please send angry emails to both

pcds@christs-hospital.org.uk
and
helpdesk@christs-hospital.org.uk

demanding an immediate lifting of the ban, for the sake of our intellectual development. Many Old Blues visited yesterday for the cricket match - you evidently love the school. Do not, then, desert in our hour of need. Intelligent people wither and grow numb in the absence of healthy questioning and criticism. Those exposed to only one opinion for seven years grow bland and meek. The future of Housey is at stake.

Blues of all ages, Unite!

Anyone care to respond?

Hmmm, not sure that an e-mail bombardment is going to be overly helpful.

It has already been discussed on here in relation to another matter, and it was generally agreed that invitations to start spamming only serve to antagonise the intended recipient(s).

Still, the blog seems to have plenty of supporters here, as will be seen by anyone who cares to lurk around for a bit.

Plenty of defenders of free speech here, too, but I can't see many people jumping in to chastise the 'authorities' without a more balanced understanding of the issues and personalities involved.

Softly softly catchee monkey, and all that......

So now that we know that M.J. is DEFINITELY innocent, can we expect him to put in an appearance ?

Why the references to The Landlord ? Is he a miserable git, or an Al Murray type ?

Hard to say really- he just strikes me as being a bit strange.

Have edited due to potential libel cases...

In my experience, he certainly has 'miserable git' tendencies.

I put this link on an earlier post, but here it is again.

Have a look at a couple of the customer reviews.....

I don't know what causes this - I have certainly never witnessed any trousers-down, dancing-on-the-tables behaviour to set him off.

A request for beer often causes him to look as if he would be happier working as a traffic warden.

Hmmmmmmm, Richard !

See what you mean.

Sounds like the present incumbant would do better as a mortuary technician.

Loved this customer critique:- "Rod T says: | 7-Nov-04

We have visited twice for lunch in the last three weeks. First time, it was packed out mainly with 'wrinklies' having a '2 for 1' opportunity. We fully recommend this pub to everyone, especially the 'wrinklies' !"

Looks like this place is going to suit me and 'Er Indoors down to the ground. Not sure about youngest daughter and Grand-son, though !

The Blog is back with a bang. Someone found a way around. Mr Palgrave, could you suggest more?

The blog has been taken down...

Confirms my worst fears about CH. Hope Yevgeni has not been kicked out.
