It looks as thought the jury has just had the "majority direction".

Up until now, any verdict has had to be unanimous, ie all jurors agreed one way or the other.

On Tuesday morning one of the jurors reported sick and had to be discharged so there are only eleven left. Normally a majority would be either 10-2 or 11-1. Because there are only eleven left, it has to be 10-1.

Only 11 jurors because of sickness. Guilty 100 % by all.

Now legal submissions.

Submissions finished.

Adjourned until 14:15 hrs., presumably for sentencing.

The press lost interest when Dobbie was sentenced which is why there has been no press coverage.

Luckily a forum member was present throughout and was able to counter Martin's obfuscation by feeding his attempts into a brains trust who corrected them.

Don't be under any illusions, jurors DO read the forum (not necessarily during the trials) which is why we have had to be very careful what has been posted.

He is being sentenced this afternoon. It will be prison. Ui think 4 years.

When sentence is handed down, we will probably unlock this thread.

Please be careful when posting.
