(going back a few posts, can someone please explain the connection between dado rails and ducks?)

(I think it used to be fashionable in Northern towns to hang plaster ducks from a dado-rail, as in Hilda Ogden of Coronation Street fame !)

Electric Floss? Sounds shocking......

Winstone Flossy was the nickname for the Housemistress in 2's in my day.... - and YES she had previously been married to Dance Band man Eric Winstone. She had been a petite red haired dancer. Much later in life I saw her 'double' in Bognor Regis. To my great surprise she too turned out to be 'Mrs. Winstone - and yes, you guessed it - she too had been married to Eric!
