Rory dear calm down!

What were you a fan of at CH during your time? A lot of girls went in for the tarten covered guys (their name escapes me arghhhhhh) others were in to UB40, Sting the Police, Boomtown Rats - and one of the most favourites was Patti Smith band - "because the Night belongs to lovers" was a much over played LP in 5's!

That was a hell of a trip down memory lane looking at all those bands Richard. Okay time to stand before the forum in shame and dejection....I liked ABBA.
I my defence, I liked most of the bands you listed too. (grovel grovel)

I wouldn't worry about it now - people were listening to far worse stuff.

In a study not far from mine, someone sporting what seemed to be permed hair used to listen to the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever......

Perms were the style of th3 70's and early 80's....
these days you can't tell a gender by hair - as many girls have short hair as guys have long!
