You're welcome. I suspect that the vast majority of us were close to being like you but got trapped first. We had orphans - in at least one case Social Disservice never found out about his condition and I'm sure one or two would have gone to borstal if they had been caught.

We had house and number ( there were over 800 of us). Mid A 15 posts here sometimes but I haven't noticed a 31 from CH though there would have been 16 of them when I was there.

Thanks JH for a link to the MHS web-site and to No31 for the up-date.

I note from the link the the school now seems to co-educational, as is CH, (after my time, I regret to say !)

I take it that it was boys only in No31's days. When did it change ?

Incidently, I have wracked my brains and have to confess this site is definitely the first time I've ever heard of MHS.
