Hi Maggie

For me, Queenie made Latin bearable (OK, so maybe I'm a masochist). I still remember hearing her reading from the Iliad - couldn't understand a word she was saying, but the passion in her voice kept me hooked.

Then there were the unseens - Ferdinand The Bull, Peter Rabbit. The Latin Teacher at St Martin's was normal (non-eccentric), never once told me to throw myself out of a window, and turned Latin into something dead as dead can be ;-).

And Whether I did get a Hug from Josh is indeed between the two of us ( I didn't, he's all the way in Havant :( )

I love Latin so much!!!. It's an amazing language and subject, might honestly turn out to be my second favourite subject. Under History which is just handsdown my fave.

From what I've seen and heard the Latin teaching currently is excellent. I'm so happy about that.

John, I add Bad Jokes to your list of Kingships. Just for that one - it's the worst of them all.

You are still young - there is far far worse to come so don't shake your head off - you might need it

Quite, Gemma. You know, I don't think that sleeping with a collie/staffie cross dog has been very helpful for JR.
