Gosh, this is getting very educational.

That is 2 new things I have learned today, what an epi wotsit is (the poem to a bride and groom) and what a durian is.

You may have learnt what it is, but this forum does not come with enhanced aroma facility!! A durian is frequently called 'The King of Fruits' by the locals but it is very definitely an acquired taste - that not all acquire! One friend said the taste was just like custard with onions in, eaten in a gas works. It is the smell of them that means they are banned from confined places such as Singapore Metro and planes.

I can't help laughing at you all (in a friendly way you understand) while reading this topic and you're discussing your avatars except that most of you have changed them since you wrote what you wrote and I laughed (who said anything about grammar anyway?)

so I'm not commenting on my own as I may change it and leave myself open to laughter...
