I am not saying this about all women but...................... Why is it that women fall for a fella, marry him and then spend the rest of theirs lives trying to change him? If he was good enough to marry, why change him?

Then they are in for one hell of a battle with some fellas

it could be that the fellas all pretend to be wonderful until a couple of weeks after the wedding, and then they convert back to sumy laziness as there is a woman in the house - so they go back to child mode.....

That's my theory - and 6 years of marriege and 17 years of singleness sort of proves it!

Totally logical post. Somewhere in England I have a piece written by a woman (I think my godmother) which sums up women's illogicalities. It includes:

a woman will take two other women to help her buy a hat but will brook no argument about her choice of a husband.

A woman will faint at the sightof a spider but face death with equanimity

As for my wife - yes she is always trying to change me - into a couch potato. That would be fine if someone could teach the Beeb and Sky how to make a watchable programme.

I think the idea behind the post was to encourage debate. And why is it tha women seem to have to do everything in twos, buying hats, going to the hairdressers and going to the toilet.

I have never bought a hat, I've only to been to the hairdressers about five times (I know, it shows) although I am guilty of the latter. I have never done any of these things with any other person. Believe me, they are all activities best completed alone. (does that make me a man?)
