I dunno I was hoping someone else did...

damned if I can be bothered to read it right now

although I would like to say at this point:

unless this contradicts the terms and conditions of this site as of the current time I wish to be known as the copyright holder for all copy posted by me excluding copy within other users' quote tags.

This sort of thing was discussed when the limerick thread was removed - basically, I think, the author always has the copyright unless he/she has ceded it elsewhere.

Happened ages ago now. Removed and then reinstated.

As DBTS says there were various discussions about copyright.

... before your time SL. The author of the thread felt that it was being put to improper use and asked JT to remove it. I suppose it was intended to be CH orientated, but it blossomed into a more general thread for aspiring rhymesters and declaimers of blank verse. Perhaps it should have been moved elsewhere.

Anyway it was brought back by popular demand and JT's sublime diplomacy.

DBTS - I hope you're still intending to conjour up some celebratory odes for the more recent 'Button Grecians'..........

Yes of course! But as I said nearly a fortnight ago, the Muse will not return until the rivers of mucus abate - as it is they meander round and round within my brain before coursing disgustingly in two sticky streams which threaten to turn my upper lip into a flood plain. She does not find my company enticing just now as a result - especially when I sneeze.
