Without getting too serious on what is a light hearted debate - boarding schools are generally 'in loco parentis' of the pupils whilst at the school and therefore the rules are put there for a reason...

I didn't know Grecians Club was to alleviate illegitimate binges...I thought it encouraged them!

However, this may be due to it's changed nature (i.e. no alcohol), but then people have always got trashed, then gone there...

That would just be wrong - the Grecians Club without alcohol is like Ireland without guiness or Radiohead with cheery songs!

I remember the last night of the GE when Chris 'Norm' Hunter donned a rather dashing leather hat and pretended to be a train driver, I think I was pretty gone by that point as my cousin Mr Reid pointed out after the leavers ceremony. Where is Chris Hunter, is the fonz dead?
