How Do You Pronounce SCHEDULE?

My daughters and I have argued the toss about this on and off over the years.

I believe the word is pronounced SHedule

They say SKedule

Discuss!!!

um, well I'm obviously in the minority. I go with the K sound.

then again my Dad tells me off for pronouncing garage as garidge ... and I guess he has a point!

Certainly it seems that the hard sound is more common in North America than in the UK.
