Just to be completely selfish (and because it's ages since I had a birthday), I have just celebrated my 100th post!
Any telegrams from the Queen Image or huge, expensive (preferably sparkly) presents can be sent via our Lord Dictator for Life (ie. Julian).

Thanks, in anticipation ......

That suggestion seems unlikely...

I work very close to Marlyebone Station - the Bakerloo runs through there and there have been some (half hearted) celebrations over the last week...

Have you been to Zen yet? I used to have many an after-work drink there when I worked in Wembley.

Interesting booze (e.g. nice Japanese beers) and good food. Oh, and Happy Hour, of course.

I used to get home very late very often.

Zen is fantastic *hic*

We have our happy hours there too (Kuoni pays for the drink for a couple of hours at the end of every month!)

We had our company's Christmas bash there once. Started at lunchtime, and continued until late in the evening. That's the last time I found myself having to get a taxi home from Brighton..........

The staff used to treat us really well there (lots of unofficial extensions to happy hour, etc.). I once asked the manager if he had any Ricard, as I don't like Pernod very much. He didn't, but he immediately got into his car and drove to a wholesaler to pick up a couple of bottles, and got back in time to pour me a large one. Brilliant!
