FYI the new head is to be Mr John Franklin, currently head at Ardingly. He is from Oz. He has a large labrador dog. He has also taught at Sedbergh. Anyone got any more info?

There was some talk of this possibly being brought in at CH a year or so ago - perhaps it`s definitely going to happen now with this appointment.

I like the way that owning a labrador is important!

I hope for the sanity of the poor dog that it doesn't!

Always look first for the simple explanation. The only pic of the new head I could find showed hims in a standing pose with a dog at his feet. I saw no point in alluding to his height, looks, hair style or build, so all I could think of adding was that he apparently likes dogs. Just a quick, throw-away line of no great significance!!

Of much greater importance is that I trust that the future Mrs Plum is well and not becoming too nervous as the great day approaches!

Yours doglessly,

David

Fair enough! :)

Yes, the future Mrs Plum is becoming increasingly excited!

We are currently looking after my parents' dogs, Pippa and Kim!
