I have 5 days off ( Thursday to Monday) but no cash to go anywhere ( sob, sob - wanted to go skiiing...9 - however, older Bro whom I have not seen since 2002 has announced his arrival , so there will be a certain amount of animation, drinking , drinking and eating to be done...
But it's 24ºC in Barcelona, so all is not lost !

I've got to put up a new shed this weekend. Oh, the excitement!
It's my wife's birthday on Friday, though, so we'll probably have a few drinks then.

Not sure what our plans are yet !
Couple of local football matches on, so that may be a prelude to a beer or three.

Sir is at present crawling round the kitchen floor tidying up after laying carpet tiles. I don't know where these 80 year olds get their energy!
No excitements in Barnstaple that I'm aware of.
Happy Easter everyone

I feel a Bah Humbug mood coming on. I have got Sunday off this year, but it is the only day of the weekend I have off. Tourists have been appearing over the last few days, the town and the railway have got very busy. My computer has been playing up and people still haven't told me what floats they want for the weekend.

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday evening processions in the local village so will be playing with the accompanying band. Better than carrying the statues around or playing at being a Roman soldier.
May go and see one of the midnight processions in a nearby town.
Sunday will no doubt be another paella with friends at someone's house, overlooking the Med. Up a long windy mountain road so must go careful with the red liquid.
Thank G everything is so cheap compared to the UK.

Digging up a tree and an Easter egg hunt are the joys I have to look forward to this weekend.

Daughters 17th and her first driving lesson on Saturday. House full of visitors - my parents, German friends, and their "son " for 12 months on an exchange from Paraguay.
