For Fun I once sat down and wrote a list of Classical composers - these do include people like John Williams, from this day and age (pleaswe not Tippit!!) but not people like Ned the nerd from rolling sotnes or hot chilli pepers etc..... I felt it would be good for all of those musically bashed by CH and not to add a compoer to the list (or as many as you can) and we can see which letter is the most common for a composer!

Not using my list but just to start of as it were ....

A - Arne
B - Beethoven, Brahms, Bartok, Bach (JS), Bach (KPE)
C - Chopin,
D - Debussy,
E - Elgar,
F -
G - Greig,
H - Handel, Haydn,
I -
J - Janokowsky (speel chock required), Joplin
K - Ketelby (ahh got some of you there!!!)
L - Liszt
M - Mahler, Mozart, McDowell, Mendlessohn, Mater (Zubin)
N - Neilson
O - Orff (Carl) (Carmina Burana - or a number 45 at the indian)
P - Purcell
Q -
R - Rossini, Rachmanioff, Rimsky-Korascov
S - Schubert, Schumann, Sinding,
T - Tchaikovsky;
U -
V - Verdi, Vivaldi,
W - Williams (John). Wagner, Williams (Vaughn)
X -
Y -
Z -

Add yours in a different colour and let;s see how many we can come up with!!

Wow I am impressed that so many of you have joined in... I gooped to say the least when it comes to the title - I should have written Genrea (genus) not gender - perhaps SorJ could ammend the tiltle for me? I guees I will be forever known as the one who got her gender stuck in a genera (I was thinking along the lines of genre, but I don't think it exists!)
