Come on then what's the verdict? I bet JR's got an opinion on this one! Personally I think naked nurses would be a great alternative medecine if only the NHS would fund such a scheme....if only Fiona Bruce was a nurse...dreaming.....

Ridiculous " I do not want to bring my children up in such an environment"?

This is the kind of narrow, dirty-minded bigotry that fosters and indeed actively encourages unhealthy an prurient attitudes to nudity.

The human body is not obscene, is not ugly, is not offensive - except in the eyes of a twisted observer. My children were raised with both parents who frequently walked around naked , were taken to naturist beaches, and neither them are ( at least to my knowledge) psychologically damaged or incipient sex perverts....

I sunbathe naked on my balcony, and nobody has yet had anything to say about it...nudity is liberating - try it !

I am absolutely with Barbara on this.

She was in her back garden for heaven's sake.

I didn't check the link Marty gave but I saw a photo of her in the paper dressed in a few leaves and she looked in pretty good shape.

A 34 year-old man was sickened and digusted, give me a break!!!!

"How they were able to see me, I just don't know."

Well first they had to chop down a tree, then put a new window into their bedroom where the built-in cupboard was and then cut a gap in the new fence they recently put up!

There's also the possibility that Mr Jones video filmed the incident becasue he's a bit of a pervert - then his wife discovered the tape and he had to quickly come up with a viable reason for holding the tape....

If I see something I find offensive - my first thought is not "

"Now - where's my video camera - just in case I need to see it again and remember quite how offensive it was...."

At least the judge / magistrate had the good sense to acquit her....

bl**dy waste of money - when there are proper criminals out there etc etc.

Of course she is entitled to do what she likes in her own garden...

I don't make a habit of it! And I'm always fully clothed......

This reminds me of a comment from the late great Dave Allen:

"If I see my neighbour sunbathing naked in her garden then people will say I'm a peeping Tom. If my neighbour sees ME sunbathing naked in my garden, then people will say I'm an exhibitionist."

Or words to that effect........

Hmm, I wonder if Fiona Bruce offers a nude pond-digging service?

I'm also with you on this one.
I would be more worried about a child who has been brought up, never having seen other people naked.

In my opinion the human body is a wonderful thing, if anyone wants to enjoy nudity in the comfort of their own home they are perfectly entitled to. I wander around naked frequently myself, thats how I lost a perfectly good pair of pants on wednesday night (I'm hoping they'll turn up but also hoping its not one of my housemates who finds them, they are all male). I am our rugby clubs strip initiator, the moment 'I touch myself' by the divynls comes on I'm on the dance floor getting my kit off, I can honestly say I have never had any complaints.

I wish Fiona Bruce was nurse as well, then It'd be alot easier to get her autograph!! Although Crimewatch wouldn't be so much fun to watch.

On another thread, JR has already posted a reference about my own (alleged) habits in this regard. A scurrilous tract, no doubt, by some hideous cockney writer.
J.R. wrote:To keep you happy, Dave, one of the other books was 'Dive In The Sun' by Douglas Reeman.

As was once said on Sesame Street, "It's disgusting. All these cute little animals are naked under their fur!". But then, people object to nursing mothers breastfeeding in public. So really there is no hope.

I'd prefer Charlie's Dimmocks.

How can the naked body be termed offensive ??

Chavs getting p1ssed up on a Friday night and tearing chunks out of each other. Now, THAT'S offensive !
