What a start to my year!

As some of you know, I took over as Chairman of 41 Inner Wheel Clubs in mid & north Wales, Wirral and Merseyside on 1st July. (International Inner Wheel is one of the largest ladies service organisations in the world - and I went to NZ for the International Convention).

On Sunday I wore my chain of office for the first time at an official lunch - and got locked in the loo!! On Monday I went to my own Club's Change of Presidents - my knicker elastic went as I arrived and as I left one shoe literally disintegrated leaving the sole in a puddle. On Tuesday I went to Leicester for the National Handover and stayed at the university - nothing dreadful that day. Wednesday morning I had a shower and as I opened the door, the hinge pin fell out and there I was in the dripping nude holding on to a glass door that wanted to fall to the ground! That afternoon I developed a migraine. How much more of this can I take? There are still more than 360 days to go!

he's always on there isn't he? I tell you who else is ALWAYS on telly, practically everyday, and that's bl**dy Shami Chakravati - the Liberty/Human Rights do-gooder. She's on every channel all the time. I'm sick of her!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one to think that!

Mind you I find myself agreeing with her quite a lot which is a bit disconcerting.

Us ladies tend to have more than one pair, and remove them at the end of the day!!!

He never seemed to have problems with his secretary's knicker-elastic keeping 'em down !!
