Avatars Why Have You Got What You've Got?

Vonny (I think) posted a thread a while back with a link to a site showing what was number 1 when you were born.

I found an image of the relevant singer, the late David Whitfield, that fitted the pixel criteria and by some miracle I succeeded in uploading it.

I've not had the courage to try and replace it!

'You're The One That I Want' by John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John was Number 1 when I was born. I'm not having ONJ as my avatar and JT has let himself go since his Grease days....

I've never understood these - so this thread made me think - OK - its about time I did something about it. So taking Mid A 15's lead, I looked up what song was No 1 when I was born - it was Apache by the Shadows. HHHMMM... so I went into yahoo images for apache - and for some weird reason found this bloke amongst all the helicopters. As he bears an uncanny resemblance to me I thought I'd try it for a bit and see what happens.

Naive little me thought every single avatar was a photo of the person concerned, how disillusioned I feel now! I think I'll remain incognito!

Rory, isn't that Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (my wife thinks he's 'nice')?

And, come to think of it, Plum has better-defined features than those in his avatar (although by his own admission his hairstyle will be similar before too long  ).

Been here done this, with Plum anyway.

and Katharine, huntertitus looks delightful in his tutu don't you think?

Come to think of it, we have a photo of No2 son in a pink tutu and tights, aged about 5. (His sister's I hasten to add) It is locked in his 'personal' drawer I believe.

Hmm, the timing of some of these posts seems to have got a bit mixed up!

You're sailing a touch too close to the wind now, Rory !

Lucky you're on the other side of the world !

That photo was taken two summers ago.

Hair is much longer now - Almost late 60's early 70's style.

At least I can still grow it long approaching 60 !
