A little story to make you feel happy!

It was haircut time yesterday, as my thatch had become far too long and unruly. My wife had hers done at the same time (£17.50 for her, £9.50 for me, even though mine was the more complicated cut - life just isn't fair, is it?).

I popped into a bar in Horsham town centre to wait for my Mrs.

Barmaid: "Hello, Richard, you've had your hair cut".

Me: "Yes, a bit different, isn't it?"

Barmaid : "You remind me of someone now, oh, who is it? You look a bit like my dad, but both of you remind me of someone else...... some gardening bloke........"

Me: "Aaaaaaaarrrrrrgh!"

Soc, there is a thread on here buried in the mists of time all about Richard's resemblance to Alan Titchmarsh.

Oh brother not Alan Titchmarsh please, no, not him again. Having to sit there with my toddler daughter watching his tales of Gordon the Garden Gnome is slowly making me lose the will to live!

As the barmaid didn't specify which gardener - it remains possible that she was referring to that woman - what's her name ??? charlie something...
