......HAS tested a nuclear device, despite the condemnation of both Japan, AND China, along with Britain, Russia and the States.
Where do we go from here ?

Nah its true alright.
The US will try and muscle in, bring Britain with it.
It will start an East Asian nuclear race (inc. Russia).
Could be worse than the war on terror. I dunno.

Good point, it could be a really large bit of propganda by the North Korean's! Not sure why they would do that though
Question; surely by testing one underground the earth hasnt ended yet so why would one going off on ground end the world?

The world wouldn't end, but a load of nuclear fallout drifting around a crowded place like S.E. Asia wouldn't be a great idea.
Wouldn't be a great idea anywhere, really.........

I dont think the media are stupid enough to make this up; neither is in their corporate interest to. Seismic activity in the region has been widely reported in the area, at a level that was caused by something like an underground data.
I am always skeptical of the media for various reasons and I have questioned over this, but I do think it has actually happened.

fair enough.
maybe I'm too paranoid but whenever anything like this is reported, I tend to think that it's the creation of some government somewhere to further it's own agenda.

not paranoid; sensible.
It's like the bit in the news that they are going to fine burglars and muggers and other criminals £100 and let them carry on because Labour wants their and their families' votes.
Next they are going to send many of the prison population to "open prisons"; just think - mass walkouts, prisons cheaper to run because they don't have to guard / feed / heat / entertain empty cells so TB and GB can afford an extra George Bush bourbon each night.
Escapees; they are still trying to find a murderer who escaped in 1998; mind your backs.

Ever since Group 4 were allowed to run some prisons, there has been a leakage of prisoners at an a ever increasing rate.
Back to North Korea, they are going to test their weapons what ever anyone says although if the Americans had said "great, go ahead Korea, welcome to the club" then they may not have done their test. They love to do the exact opposite of what the Americans want.

Latest C.I.A. spin says North Korea might have just drilled a very large hole in the mountain, packed it with loads of higg explosive and set it off to imitate an underground nuclear explosion.
Very interesting !
