When i came on here this evening none of the post signs in first column on index page showed as having new posts despite three of them having lots of new posts? Whats wrong with it?

It hiccups sometimes. You just have to be patient... and think of the server which sits in Julian's spare bedroom!

I really do wish I knew!
It does still seem very slow, and I've tried everything I can at the moment.
May try to give them a ring later this week if I get a chance, and see if they've got any service issues that they're not telling us about...

I don't think Julian should 'blame himself' (though that might be a strong interpretation of his last posting!). I think we are bl*ddy lucky to have ANY means of chatting about this and that, let alone one which hiccups sometimes.
Keep up the good work, Julian!

It all seems to have sorted iteslf out now.
But I am on leave today and when I got home from town this morning BT are digging up my street to replace the phone lines (no warning given) so if you don't see me for a while you know why.
