only about 800 people from whom it could have come.
Wasn't me - I look for the little blondieisms with a satanic grimace twisting my mouth ......... IST suspect there may still be two, arguably three errors in your 19 words

Yes! Loved it. When we were in Brunei we got a lot of Japanese merchandise, some of the messages were obscure to put it bluntly! The Japanese stuff we see in Britain is much closer to English language than anything you see in the Far East.

What a shame - it certainly wasn't me - I for one would feel the world would be a poorer and sadder place were it not for the inventive genius of your spelling and grammar, Amy.

I got a shockingly sore throat for Christmas from my husband. Can just about swallow a glass of wine, but that's painful. Thank you, darling!

As I was waiting for your post to open (it's almost worth going back to Uni just so that I don't have to suffer dial-up internet access) I guessed 'dictionary', but then thought 'perhaps a typing manual?'
Happy New Year
PS: I got 'The Palin Diaries' and a pink sign saying
Princess Parking Only
all other vehicles towed
I'm guessing that I'm the only Princess on the planet driving a filthy red Laser with one headlight held in place with blue rope.
Can't be bothered waiting for the Off Topic icon to download, so
OFF TOPIC!!
Has the UK been subjected to 'Australian Princess'? If so, and anyone managed to sit through Series 1 (Paul Burrell and the old coot with the crepey neck are positively nauseating) - Zena A (equestrienne, deaf in one ear, described by PB has having a voice like Minney Mouse) is a long time friend of my daughter, so I could organise autographed photographs ..............
Aaarrrgggghhhhhh - replaced the laptop which my daughter dropped, with a desktop ('Try dropping that Oh First Born') which has a, wait for it, 20" monitor: yet somehow my Burmese is able to block it completely from my view. What happened to walking across the keyboard, or digging her claws into my thighs to get my attention?????????????????

Yes it is THE PB.
The premise is similar to 'Ladette to Lady' where they take a beer-swilling gum-chewing female and attempt to turn her into something we would recognise as a young lady.
Not that I have ever watched either you understand, I just read the reviews in the Radio Times!!
and Caroline, a 20" screen, I need one of those with my elderly eyesight.

A family joke, I am very short-sighted (-4.75) and of course now I have varifocals for reading as well.
My husband has always had "eyes of an eagle" but his are going as well.
